Fragrance Collection Launch

How do you design and launch a fragrance collection as iconic as The Rolling Stones?

Our role and key challenge was to translate The Rolling Stones’ legacy into a lasting brand and product that reflects their energy: Bold. Rebellious. Unapologetic. Authentic. We established a brand that is both witty and aspirational, a fragrance range that is of the highest quality and unlike any other in the industry, and a world that inspires fans to Wear It Loud.

In terms of brand design, the identity was built on the concept of being subversive whilst retaining a bold and unfussy look, allowing the range to speak for itself. The role of this was to establish a contemporary brand which encourages a wider audience beyond the fan world, and to appeal to consumers who aren’t afraid to be unapologetically themselves.

The fine fragrances have their own unique personalities which reflect the sensorial combination of notes in each one. Each is inspired by an aspect of the Rolling Stones’ legacy, whether that is the name of an iconic song or tour. The unisex range has something for everyone, whether that’s the heady and edible, Sticky Fingers, or the woody and seductive Satisfaction.

Beyond the brand and packaging design, we led the campaign strategy, which involved production, photography, art direction and retouch, as well as cohesive web design and social media strategy. In order to bring the brand to life, we designed an exciting in-store launch for the iconic Rolling Stones Carnaby Street Store.
